SIX THINKING HATS

Edsa Shangri-La Hotel, Mandaluyong City, Philippines
9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Wednesday & Thursday, May 9 & 10, 2012

I. PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

In any organization, the most valuable and critical competence or skill is thinking. Ultimately, a person’s quality of thinking and the actions that flow from this thinking activity determine his/her effectiveness and contribution to an enterprise.

Six Thinking Hats® is a world-renowned course developed by Dr. Edward de Bono that will eliminate unproductive discussions and help individuals organize and maximize their thinking, making problem solving and decision making easier, faster and more effective. This program teaches you to separate thinking into six distinct categories. Each category is identified with its own colored metaphorical "thinking hat.” By mentally wearing and switching “hats,” you can easily focus or redirect thoughts, the conversation, or the meeting. The difference between brilliant and mediocre teams isn’t so much in their collective mental capacity, but in how well they can tap into their collective wisdom and how well they function together.

Six Thinking Hats® is a method that puts a systematic structure to your thinking and decision-making process. It is a powerful tool that you and your business can use to create a climate of clearer thinking, improved communication, and greater creativity.
