Lecturers:

Atty. Edwin R. Abella, CPA – He has 30 years of experience as a tax practitioner and is considered an expert in his field of tax practice. He obtained a Master of Taxation degree from the Harvard Law School (Thomas Jefferson Scholar, 1995) and MLQ University (with Highest Honors in 1988). He is a lecturer in taxation and bar review classes in U.P. and many other prestigious universities. He is the chairman on suggested answers committee to bar exams in taxation and has been a bar examiner in 2009. Presently, he holds the rank of assistant commissioner at the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR).

Atty. C.A. Gerard M. Lukban – He is the Commission Secretary and spokesperson of the Securities and Exchange Commission. His lecture will cover the SEC segment of the seminar in his capacity as the person in-charge of the repository of SEC information for public dissemination. He finished his Juris Doctoris degree at the Ateneo Law School in 1995 and MBA in 2000 at the Ateneo Graduate School of Business.
